Tape Me Up Scotty
Or is that "Beam me up..."?
Yes, electric tape is a tool. A vital one for me when it comes to hooking up wires and such. I mean, sure, you could solder or something, but that requires too much time and concentration. I only solder on really important things or when there is no way that tape will work (like when connecting a wire to a circuit board...).

Ok, so, now all you have to do is tape this ugly mess up into something that looks as least ghetto as possible. I tried quite hard to accomplish this (actually, I didn't...).
"So," you ask, "does it work?". Ha, I say to you... Of course it works. Do you honestly think I would have wasted my time writing this whole tutorial if the damn thing didn't work? Sure, it might have worked slightly better if you were able to do this without cutting the wire. Many a electronic geek would shudder at the site of something like this because the copper mesh is actually used to shield the antenna from interference and blah, blah, blah...
Well, put it this way... The part of the house that was once unreachable get 4-5 bars on my laptop. That's impressive considering the methods I used to this. I am proud of myself to say the very least.
If you have any better ways of accomplishing this same task, please submit a tutorial or email me a suggestion. I should have a working wiki up very soon that will have entries for every tutorial. In the meantime, keep ghettoriggin'!
!! UPDATE !! : The Wiki is up and running. To modify this tutorial in anyway you think necessary, please head to it's wiki and do it. Of course, try to stay within reason. If you need more information on wikis, please go to the GhettoWiki homepage - it is described there.
