Multiple 3D-Model Formats:
For all of you that think beyond 2 dimensions (like me...)!
I highly suggest downloading the FREE Sketchup Viewer. It is free and easy to use. It will work in Windows, Mac, and Linux (via WINE).
I suggest the above viewer because I created this 3D model of my trebuchet using Sketchup 5. It is a great and easy to use program. Well worth the money! It's a good thing, however, that the viewer is free for all to use. Of course, for you 3D gurus out there, I am also providing you with an AutoCAD file and a generic .OBJ file for use in many 3D apps like Maya. There's a little somethin' for everybody.

I did not lock these files and I encourage you to modify them in ANY way you like and, when you are done, I would love to see what you can do. I will most certainly post your works on this site (as long as it still pertains to the trebuchet). If need be, I will, hopefully with your input, even create a new tutorial based on your design.
No more stalling, here are the files:
For people using the Sketchup viewer (I would assume this to be the majority):
For people using that want to view it in AutoCAD:
Oh, and I can't forget a Autodesk 3ds Max file and the accompanying textures:
3ds Max 3D File (.3ds + .jpg = .rar)
For those of whom are amongst the 3D modeling elite, here is your OBJ file:
Also, please check out my video page for the trebuchet:

Oh, and the photo gallery:
All photos of this tutorial + a few more. There is an option to download them all in a .rar compressed picture package file.
You can also download the entire tutorial as a PDF File:
